The Big Easy BOOGALOO ‘08
A Wild Night in the Vieux Carre

On Saturday, April 19, 2008, the Imperial Calcasieu Museum is delighted to present a new band, new food, and a brand new venue for the one and only Boogaloo! Look forward to the famous Rebirth Brass Band from New Orleans, new and fabulous food from fine chefs, beaucoup surprises, and its all happening at 710 Ryan Street.

Iconic elements of the French Quarter will come to life from Jackson Square to Café Du Monde, to the voodoo shops and jazz clubs of Bourbon Street, to the famous marching bands of North Rampart Street. Come take it easy or make it wild at the Big Easy Boogaloo!

The Museum is celebrating its 45th year as a cultural and educational resource for our community, providing model education and outreach activities. YOU make it possible for us to continue to do this by sponsoring the Boogaloo, the museum’s only fundraiser.

In 2007, the museum was able to reach more people, especially local school children, because of the extraordinary exhibits and interactive programs that we provided. The quality of our activities compares to that of museums with four times our budget. No resources are wasted. We are a small community, reaching out to a larger one, and each one of you makes a difference to the quality of experiences that we can provide.

Boogaloo raises necessary operating funds for the Museum. 40% of our budget comes from Boogaloo sponsorship.

Please consider becoming a Boogaloo Sponsor. We give our sponsors significant recognition at the event and throughout the community. We want people to know who makes the Museum possible! Contact us with our ONLINE FORM, or call us 337.439.3797 today!

COME TAKE IT EASY OR MAKE IT WILD AT THE BIG EASY BOOGALOO!
